Visit to Machu Picchu
This weekend my friends and I from ISA High School visited Machu Picchu. The ride there was a little tiring, however as soon as we got there I knew it was already worth it.
We first went to Las Aguas Calientes on Saturday and then on Sunday we went to explore Machu Picchu. It was a great experience as it is one of the seven wonders of the world.
The Incas used this place mostly for religious purposes as well as farming. The explorer that found Machu Picchu was Hiram Bingham, when he first arrived everything was all hidden beneath a forest. This place then became one of the most important man made wonders of the world.
