Working with Clay in Sorrento, Italy
The ceramics class was very great experience that was also a lot of fun! Our group started out by picking out what we wanted to make. Then we each got our clay, which we rolled out and fit into molds. After using clay to make accents for our pieces as decoration, We handed in our pieces to be put into an oven. We then came back a couple days later to paint our masterpieces! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed making their own piece from scratch, which can later be given to others as gifts or kept for ourselves! Overall, I loved the designing and making process and the now beautiful platter I have to remember my trip by!
