Pearl Tower– The Oriental Pearl Tower/The Shanghai TV And Radio Tower is a definite landmark on the Shanghai skyline. After a long line (but conversations with some very cute local kids), we were able to take an elevator up for a view of the entire city (or at least all that we could see with the smog). Being that high up above the city was truly breathtaking.
Aquarium– The Shanghai Water World is a hilarious little collection of fish tanks with animals from the Yellow Sea (the sea near Shanghai). We looked around a bit, and then hopped on the coolest part of our trip. We all piled into this glass bottom and road over this huge tank full of sharks and fish. It was so beautiful.
Fake Market– The fake market is absolutely hilarious and a true Shanghai cultural experience. I got to nail down my bargaining skills though and get some really cute (and cheap) fake products!
Global Harbor– We’ve been to Global Harbor mall a few times since we’ve been here, to go to a restaurant, a museum and to go shopping. But whatever the reason, I’ve come to realize that it’s not just a mall but a hangout spot and entertainment center for TONS of Shanghainese.
